On Thursday 24 March, over 500 potential students and families joined us for our 2022 Open Day.
Staff and students showcased our campus with integrity and passion – their combined effort made the afternoon a huge success.
The Lauries community was out in force, with musical performances from College bands and choirs, a Sports Excellence demonstration with the Brisbane Lions and Urban Farm tours running throughout the day. Families soaked up the fun and relaxed atmosphere while taking guided tours with our senior boys and perusing the various Academic displays.
Attendees were also invited to an information session led by College Principal, Mr Chris Leadbetter, and Dean of Primary School, Mr Cameron Wigan. Throughout this session, potential families had the opportunity to see our Learning Framework, Catholic identity and pastoral care program in action.
Photos from the day can be viewed in the gallery below.
Gathering with our community builds a sense of belonging and connection. The Lauries difference is distinctive and can only be experienced when engaging with our students and staff. The 2022 Open Day reflected the culture of community that has been nurtured for generations here at St Laurence’s College. We look forward to sharing this culture with our new families and providing endless opportunities for their sons in the very near future.
